HD/AD Holders/Final Year Students

Applicants who either (i) hold a Higher Diploma/Associate Degree; or (ii) are current final year students of a Higher Diploma/Associate Degree programme offered by an institution that is recognised by PolyU are eligible to apply for admission to the senior year of our full-time government-funded Bachelor's degree programmes. Such applications are invited together with those for the first year entry. Please visit our Study@PolyU website at www.polyu.edu.hk/study to obtain up-to-date programme information and detailed application procedures. Applications can be submitted directly through our Online Admission System on the same website following the application procedures for first year entry.

Programmes not included in the list above may also consider senior-year admission, but the number of places available will be very limited.

Departments will consider applications on a rolling basis until all places are filled. Based on your qualifications, departments will decide whether an offer for a senior year place will be made. There is normally a very high demand for senior year places every year. If a senior year place cannot be offered, students can be admitted to the first year of study and they may apply for credit transfer afterwards.
