PolyU has a Mentorship Programme that provides a caring and supportive network for undergraduates and their mentors, who include PolyU alumni, professionals, potential employers and social dignitaries.

The programme's primary objectives are to:

• Facilitate your educational, social and personal growth
• Develop your fullest potential, visions and aspirations for the future
• Enhance your future professional and career development
• Groom you to become a preferred graduate, and
• Empower you to face challenges in society

Mentors serve as advisors, coaches and counsellors by sharing with our undergraduate students their experiences in social and communication techniques, leadership and management skills. They also offer general advice on academic and personal growth and development. Mentors and mentees agree between themselves on the level of commitment, mode and frequency of interaction, and preferred focus for the mentorship process.
